Thank you to our group of fourteen 1971 grads who met at Wolf Hollow Brewery today to discuss a reunion proposal. It was great to see people after many years and miles of separation. Here’s what we came up with:

The Schalmont Class of 1971 reunion will be held on Saturday, September 16th, from 2:00pm until closing at Wolf Hollow Brewery 6882 Amsterdam Road in West Glenville, NY.

There will be two big party tents and picnic tables in a large are set aside for us, space for outdoor games, a private bartender featuring beer and hard ciders,… restrooms, and a food truck.

We went through a list of graduates via the yearbook to find out who among the group today were in contact with other class members not present, or knew a way to communicate with them, so we could spread the word about the reunion. We are making every effort to reach out to all former classmates. Please keep your 1971 friends who are not on Facebook posted on this information.
Sadly, it appears that twenty six members of our graduating class have passed away.

Special thanks to Pat McDonough and Dan Testo for exercising organizational skills throughout this process. They were both key to the progress we made. Additionally, Dan and Pat Testo enabled us to receive discounted prices for the facility.

I ask that those present at the meeting expand on this post and/or correct any mistakes I might have made.
